South Tyne Area Print Competition 2014 host club Winlaton CC
The 2014 South Tyne Print competition was hosted by Winlaton CC - we invited Dave Phillips to make his judgement on the entry which camera from 6 of the 7 that make up the STA.
CLOSE BUT NO CIGAR . . .
As host club Winlaton CC finished joint second in a very closely contested South Tyne Area Print Competition with Hexham PS running out the winners. The contest for best print was also a close close run thing with Judge Dave Phillips awarding four prints with 29 - and two prints receiving the top mark of 30 ----- 'On the Edge' by Alan Fowler of Gateshead CC and 'Hare Spray' by Graham Dixon of Hexham PS- with Alan taking it with 'On the Edge' - well done to Alan and of course Hexham PS.
The evenings judge was Dave Phillips who provided some forthright comments and a good dash of humor - a big thank you to him in making the evening so enjoyable.
We should also thank of course all the members form the participating clubs for coming along as they do contribute a lot on the night - Cheers folks!
So here's to next years competition where hopefully we can jump a spot to first!
Once again thanks everyone . . .
